KIOSH 2015: Response Team of the Central Headquarters demonstrated a high training level

April 28-29, in Astana, the Response Team of the Central Headquarters of the professional uniformed emergency services of the Ministry for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Headquarters) demonstrated tactical rescue team performance at the 5th International Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition KIOSH 2015.

The participants were rescuers of the Headquarters who demonstrated activities of mine rescue teams on the application of special rescue equipment and elimination of emergency situation consequences at hazardous production facilities. The rescuers have demonstrated good training. With state-of-the-art equipment, rescue teams proved that besides saving people's lives they can also reduce the expenses for possible accident elimination.

The primary task of performances was a demonstration of the rescue works in underground coal mines and in the aboveground facility. During two days the rescuers were demonstrating examination of accident areas, removal of victims from blockages, their evacuation to the underground base, first aid and fire suppression.

The participants and invited guests of KIOSH 2015 exhibition saw how accidents were eliminated and people working in hazardous production facilities were saved within just a few minutes.

High level of training can reduce the severity of injury consequences for people suffered in emergency situations, help provide medical assistance, conduct antishock actions for victims at accident locations or during evacuations, as well as engage mine rescue teams to eliminate a variety of man-caused accidents and natural disasters on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
