1. “The Company of the Year”
Definition: The Company of the Year is a company which has practically proved its commitment to high standards of occupational safety and health issues and secured zero- or minimal rate of industrial accidents or made it possible to provide zero rates of industrial accidents.
Requirements to the applicant companies: Companies with efficient safety and environmental safety management system, which made it possible to reduce the industrial accident rates to zero.
Requirements to the company’s projects: The projects of the company shall be under implementation.
Materials required for participation in the contest: All materials shall be submitted in hard and soft copies. If necessary, photo-, video-, audio applications, texts of press-releases and publications, as well as any other materials and documents related to the applicant’s activity are to be submitted.
Materials shall include the following information:
- Project title.
- Time, terms and geography (territory) of the project.
- Responsible persons under the project.
- Information about contractors and the customer (company or person) of the project.
- Project budget (at the discretion of the project contractor).
- Description of project concepts, goals and objectives.
- Project implementation methods.
- Evaluation of project results.
- References and comments of the project customer, colleagues, clients, etc.
Company evaluation criteria:Evaluation of achievement of target goals, creative approach (freshness of the concept), excellence of technical implementation (execution), efficiency and scale of the project.
2. “The Best Training Programme”
Definition: The Best Training Programme is the programme implemented or being implemented in the field of labour protection and occupational safety with particular positive results aimed to improvement in safety of operations of the enterprise within the region/ at the place of production with application of innovative technologies and products or services of domestic manufacturers.
Requirements to the projects: The project shall be put into practice or be implemented for 50% at least.
Materials required for participation in the contest: All materials shall be submitted in hard copy and accompanied by soft copy. If necessary, photo-, video-, audio applications, texts of press-releases and publications are to be submitted.
Materials shall include the following information:
- Project title.

JUDGES
The panel of judges shall include officials from relevant ministries and government institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, independent experts, industry associations.
