To the participants of the International Conference and Exhibition - KIOSH-2025
Dear participants!
On behalf of the Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as AMME), I am pleased to welcome the participants of the 13th Kazakhstan International Occupational Safety and Health Conference and Exhibition - KIOSH 2025!
Over the years of its existence, KIOSH has become a unique business platform that presents the trends and prospects for the development of the industrial safety and labor protection market in Kazakhstan. It is pleasant that KIOSH provides excellent opportunities for exchanging opinions and experiences, establishing partnership relations, and familiarizing yourself with the latest achievements in the field of industrial safety from leading manufacturers.
By the Decree of the Head of State, 2025 was declared the Year of Working Professions, designed to promote the ideas of hard work and professionalism in our society. The prestige of a Working Man is determined, among other factors, by the creation of decent working conditions, convenient, comfortable, and, most importantly, safe work process.
AMME, together with mining enterprises, systematically initiates proposals to improve the regulatory framework in the field of industrial safety, labor protection, and harmonize it with international standards.
At the initiative of the AMME, a pilot testing of the mechanisms of the Concept of Safe Labor in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030 is being carried out at mining enterprises, which provides for the modernization of the national labor protection system, helps reduce the level of professional risk in the workplace, improve competencies in the field of labor protection, and strengthen economic incentives to improve working conditions.
Along with this, the key focus of the Industry Agreements, in the development and signing of which AMME participates, is the implementation of specific measures to improve safety and labor protection conditions, prevent industrial injuries and occupational diseases, and organize internal and public control over the state of safety and labor protection in the workplace.
I am confident that the discussions and meetings at the conference will contribute to the emergence of new productive ideas and will make a significant contribution to the further development of the labor protection management system.
I wish all guests and participants productive and fruitful work to achieve their goals!
