ERG focuses on the proactive model, where the main attention is on preventing incidents. This approach is implemented through digital solutions, data analytics, and the review of traditional safety processes.
One of the key tools is the 24/7 Situational Center, which integrates data from production sites – from CCTV systems to sensors and positioning – allowing potential risks to be identified in real time. This setup ensures rapid decision-making and reduces the likelihood of incidents.
Among the significant technological solutions is the “Antison” project. The computer vision-based system is already implemented on hundreds of mining machines and monitors driver conditions, detecting signs of fatigue. This helps reduce accidents and minimizes human factor impact.
Digitalization also covers internal services. ERG has implemented the QauipSIZ mobile service, allowing employees to request personal protective equipment remotely: selecting required items, checking availability, and scheduling convenient pick-up times. This solution improves process efficiency and enhances user experience. Additionally, corporate safety standards are being improved: employees working in high-dust conditions are provided with an extra set of summer workwear, considering actual working conditions and improving comfort.
This development is anchored in ERG’s new three-year Safety Strategy, based on the analysis of injury statistics over the past 10 years and the study of best international practices.
