KIOSH 2023 - PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND INDUSTRIAL SAFETY IN KAZAKHSTAN
THE 11TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND INDUSTRIAL SAFETY CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION - KIOSH 2023 WILL BE HELD AT EXPO IEC, ASTANA, ON MAY 24-26.
The main topic of KIOSH in 2023 is the risk-oriented aspect of preventive occupational health and industrial safety policy.
Traditionally, the KIOSH project will be represented by an exhibition, which will unite 49 companies from Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Russia and Uzbekistan. For the first time, 19 companies, including Industrial and Operational Support Services, IOSS, ZhaikCaspian Group, XM Textiles Kz, Vysota-M, Diamond Kazakhstan, Filtr Plant, MirLight and others will be exhibiting at the stand as debutants. In order to develop professional skills of specialists, the exhibition participants and invited experts will conduct a series of training seminars and master classes of Baitau Partners LLP, Technoavia-Kazakhstan LLP, KVAZAR LLC, Kazakhstan branch of JMJ Associates LTD, PROTECTOR, RNIIOT, PO Global Special Clothing LLP, SKAI | Scout Corporate Solutions, Aktiv-Bespasnost LLP, IOSS Global.
The content of the two-day KIOSH Conference, to be held on May 25 and 26, will outline the major issues in occupational health and industrial safety, with issues in each of these areas to be discussed on a separate day.
May 25, the first day of the Conference, will be entirely devoted to occupational health and safety. The content of the business program will include an Inspectors Forum to discuss preventive control and identify new tasks in monitoring occupational health and safety, and a Roundtable on preventive medicine. The speakers of the two foresight sessions will share with the audience their models of developing professional competencies and ways to assess professional risks. Strategic (plenary) session “Conceptual foundations of occupational health and safety through the prism of new challenges” will be held with participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Kulginov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. Duissenova, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Musin and Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Giniyat. Speakers will discuss changes of legislation in social and labor sphere in details, consider the concept of occupational health and safety in Kazakhstan, forecast further development and key trends in the field of occupational health and safety in the country and in the world. Then there will be a foresight session with the Vice-Ministers of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
May 26, the second day of the KIOSH Conference will cover industrial safety issues. The professionals will talk about digital industrial safety as a new ESG trend, the application of digital transformation in our country, the development of industrial safety through the application of digitalization during the panel session on digitalization.
During the panel session, speakers from major energy, mining, oilfield services, and oil and gas companies will share their experience in reducing the risks of accidents in the operation of corporate fleets of vehicles and special equipment. There will also be a workshop on fire safety especially for industry professionals.
